Introducing the amazing Skyla Murray who sang at SONGfest! for several years while she was at school in Dunedin. She is now studying music in Helsinki. Skyla is a brilliant young violinist with an amazing future ahead. You don’t want to miss an opportunity to hear her perform next weekend…….

Violinist Skyla Murray returns to Dunedin while on break from her overseas music studies in Helsinki. She and pianist Tom McGrath will present a recital with works by Sibelius and Brahms, and a new solo violin work by Jaakko Kilpeläinen. Skyla is excited to be performing to her hometown audience.

SONGfest! 26. That’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone who performed over the weekend, their families, teachers, our sponsors, crew, and amazing adjudicator Gina Sanders and Anna Thomson.

What a finale to SONGfest! 26! Such a fun way to end a fabulous festival of singing.

Thank you all for coming this year and helping to make the weekend such a success.

Huge thanks to our AMAZING adjudicator Gina Sanders for all her pearls of wisdom and going with us on the journey of tech development this weekend. We loved having you in Dunedin.

We are well under way at SONGfest! And have been spoilt by the high standard of singing and performing across the South Island!

Please remember to check yourself into the app to tell us you have arrived and please check the schedule regularly as it is “live” with time and where we are up to in the program. This may differ from the paper/email versions previously sent as there have been scratchings and changes.
