The Otago German shepherd Dog Club’s sausage sizzle at Mitre 10 Mega Anderson Bay Road Dunedin

Come on down

24/09/2026

Our small club is going to be at Dunedin Mitre10 Anderson’s bay rd this Sunday cooking up a storm - well a sausage sizzle any way. Come and grab a snag cooked by club members … we know GSDs steal the sausages not cook them.

See you there

I’m picking up lisa and koda at 9:30am so heading to mitre10 mega for 10am. Wrap up warm that wind is a killer . But the sun is sort of shining and it’s not raining. Bring some $ and get a hot chocolate or coffee afterwards.

So use the paring area of mitre10 off midland st.

See you there

Kids paddling yesterday when it was warmer

Hello everyone in the Otago GSD Club

Paris’s babies are 6 wks old and I have a wee bit of freedom.. I’ve weaned Paris off the wee suckers so she’s semi good to go too … now to get Mother Nature on our side

I’m looking at a walk from mitre 10 mega on Sunday 20th September at 10am but if Mother Nature does her usual spring trick (ie rain) maybe just a human coffee

If we walk can we meet in them parks off midland st .. then maybe coffee afterwards.

What are your thoughts?

13/09/2026

My silly puppy brain combined with recovering from influenza A I got the mitre10 bbq fund raiser date wrong. Our date if 27/9/26.

12/09/2026

Don’t you just love spring. Flowers and blossom out & high winds to reek havoc on it all & it’s the middle of September…

I’m pleased I’m over the worst of this influenza A. Virus but boy it sure knocked the stuffing out of me. Add to that three Verry boisterous five week old Puppies that are like a demolition crew.. good times

By my phone there’s an 80% chance of rain tomorrow… oh goodie. In fact the rest of next week isn’t looking great either .. bother

On a positive note .. the club will be doing a bbq sizzle at mitre10 mega Saturday 4th October. The committee is steaming ahead with organising it … funds will go towards our upcoming show in Feb ‘27

Next shows are with SIGSL in chch at the end of October. So get your entries in.

🐾 hoping to come out next week and get a doggo walk &/or a coffee next Sunday

Until then stay safe etc etc.
