Congratulations to the HuttFest team! 🌺⛵️

An awesome achievement and a well-deserved recognition of the hard work, passion and dedication that goes into your festival.

Mālō lava le galue. 🙌🏽

We are truly thankful to have received the Hutt City Supreme Award and the Education & Child/Youth Development Award at the 2026 Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards for Hutt City.

This award is dedicated to the teachers, parents, students, families, schools, our workforce and everyone behind the scenes who give their time, energy and heart to making it all happen.

The hours of rehearsals, the encouragement, the sacrifices and the commitment ,this award is a reflection of all of that.

We are truly thankful to everyone who continues to support, participate and believe in what we do

MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROGRAMME. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Every journey needs people who are willing to guide, support, challenge and nurture along the way.

Meet the Pasifika Youth Producers Programme team — just some of the most amazing and talented people helping create the space for our young Pasifika to learn, grow and step into their future as festival producers.

Together, they bring knowledge, experience, leadership and a shared commitment to investing in the next generation of Pasifika festival producers.

This programme is not only about teaching young people how to produce festivals.

It’s about creating relationships, sharing knowledge and making sure the pathway forward is there for those who come next.

Because when we invest in our youth, we invest in the future of our festivals, our communities and our culture.

And that work is bigger than one programme. It takes a connected festival community — people, organisations and festivals coming together to share, support and build what comes next.

Fa'afetai to our incredible team for helping bring this kaupapa to life. 🌊

The work starts here.
The future starts with us.

MEET OUR PARTICIPANTS! 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

For our Youth Producers, a festival is more than an event.

It’s where our people come together.
Where culture is celebrated.
Where stories are shared.
Where the next generation finds a place to belong.

For the Pasifika Youth Producers Programme, our young people are bringing the festivals they represent with them — learning, listening, creating and growing as they begin their journey towards becoming the future producers of our Pasifika festivals.

🎥 Hear from our Youth Producers as they share who they’re repping, and what this opportunity means for their own journey.

This is about more than learning how to produce a festival.

It’s about nurturing the people who will carry them forward.

Our culture.
Our stories.
Our festivals.
Our future. 🌊

This is what being part of a connected Pasifika festival network is all about — sharing knowledge, creating opportunities and supporting one another to keep our festivals thriving.

If you’re part of the Pasifika festival community, come be part of the network. Learn more about PFA Inc. and our Membership through our website. (Link in bio!)
