Today we're celebrating Tony Green and Christchurch Invitation.

Created in the wake of the Christchurch mosque attacks in 2019, The Christchurch Invitation: Mahia te Aroha (Action the Compassion) was born from a desire to create meaningful and inclusive conversations in our community.

Through thoughtful interviews and kōrero, Tony explores identity, belonging, culture, and what it means to be part of Aotearoa. The show features people from a wide range of backgrounds, traditions, and experiences, sharing insights that encourage understanding and connection.

Thank you, Tony, for creating a space where important conversations can happen and where every voice has the opportunity to be heard.

New Zealand lost today against Egypt 1 - 3. Although we had the lead on the first half of the match, it was unfortunately not enough .

First airing in June 2007 Detox Mans!on takes its name from a Warren Zevon song and has built a loyal following with its unique "no-format format." From classic favourites to fresh discoveries, local legends to international icons, anything and everything can find a place on the playlist.

Hosted by Garry (Gaz) Thomas, the show is a true labour of love and a masterclass in music programming. A finalist in the 2010 NZ Radio Awards, Gaz continues to bring listeners an eclectic mix of sounds, stories, and musical surprises every week.
