Designed for a young family of four, this new build kitchen proves that family-friendly and beautiful are never mutually exclusive.
The brief called for a calm, earthy-toned space that could keep up with the rhythm of a busy household, two parents who cook together, two young children always nearby, and a need for everything to be durable, practical and enduring without sacrificing warmth or refinement.
A redesign defined two distinct zones, separating cooking and prep from a dedicated eating space through a considered change in materials. The sink was repositioned into the island for better workflow, the fridge relocated for improved accessibility, and a dedicated coffee station introduced, with cabinetry detailed to accommodate life with toddlers.
The desire for marble elegance met the reality of family life through the selection of a porcelain benchtop by Artisan Stone, offering the same visual richness without the upkeep. Easy-to-use handles, integrated appliances and generous bench space keep the space organised and uncluttered.
The result is a kitchen tailored to the way this family truly lives, timeless in aesthetic, considered in detail and built to grow with them.
