The 2026 NKBA Conference is this week, and on Thursday, we're starting with a session we're really looking forward to!

Doors open at 7.30am on Thursday 10th in the Auckland Museum Foyer for registration. Don't forget to collect your lanyard, then head up the lift to Under the Dome and those panoramic Auckland views. NKBA President Nicola Manning will welcome everyone at 8.30am.

From 8.45am, our Executive Panel takes the floor for Lessons, Leadership & Industry Insights. A candid conversation drawing on real-world experience from across manufacturing, design and supply, covering HR, customer service, job management and finance.

The session also includes an open Q&A with the Board, an update on NKBA strategy, introductions to the Head Office team, and a first look at the upcoming NKBA Identity Workshop.

Behind every successful graduate is dedication, curiosity, and a commitment to learning.

Kiota Chen from Haspert Joinery completed the NZ Diploma in Kitchen Design last year and was recognised with the 2025 NKBA Outstanding Graduate Award, celebrating both her achievement and her dedication to developing professional design skills.

Her journey highlights the value of industry-led education. Through the NZ Diploma in Kitchen Design, students gain the knowledge, technical understanding, and confidence needed to bring well-planned, functional kitchens to life.
