Torohia, the medical training survey for New Zealand, is currently open. There’s still time for doctors to share their training experience via the survey, as the closing date is next Wednesday 30 September.

We know it’s not a short survey - but the results are publicly available for use in advocacy, training programme improvement initiatives and training accreditation so we encourage you to have your say!

The new STONZ SECA, outlines that once a Dental RMO has been accepted into the Maxillofacial vocational training programme, up to two years of hospital practice completed as a Dental House Officer will now be recognised as registrar service for the purposes of determining the registrar salary scale placement.

RMOs can now utilise the week of paid accommodation for transferring both at their new and previous location as needed.
