The CEA ballot closed last night, and 91% of members who voted backed the proposed SECA, now officially ratifying the offer!

The new STONZ SECA will take effect from 1 March 2026.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part over the past 12 months. Your feedback and engagement ensure this union continues to be shaped by RMOs.

We’re now working with HNZ on implementation and will share updates with members soon.

The offer includes a one-off $3,000 gross LSP (rated by FTE) for all STONZ members at ratification.

Thinking of joining STONZ? If you are on an IEA and are eligible to join, you would need to be a full member by the 28th of April (date of ballot closing), and if the offer is ratified by members, you would then also receive the LSP.
