A Spring Saturday Dads’ Walk | Port Hills to Kiwi Café

Saturday 10 October | 11am - 1pm 🗓

📍 Meet up/Start: Sign of the Takahe (junction of Colombo Street, Heaton Street, and Hackthorne Road / Cashmere Road).

Following our amazing walk to Barnett Park Cave, we’re heading into the Port Hills, making our way to the Kiwi Café.

Join us for a relaxed dads’ walk, fresh air, great views and some lively banter along the way.

What to expect:

*Relaxed 3 km walk
*45 minutes to 1 hour each way
*Easy, gradual incline
*Native and exotic woodland
*Time to connect and enjoy the outdoors
*Kids welcome
*Pets welcome (must be leashed) 🐈

🥾 Dads’ Walk Moncks Bay

What a day for a walk! ☀️

Christchurch turned on some outstanding weather on Saturday, making for a brilliant afternoon around Moncks Bay and up to Barnett Park Cave.

There was plenty of great banter, good company and some pretty spectacular scenery along the way. The coastline around Canterbury really is underrated. 🌊

A great group, a great walk and a great day out.

A special thanks to Josh 👏 for his organising skills and making the walk happen.

We’ll be planning more activities like this, so stay posted for the next one.

📍 **202A Main Road, Moncks Bay, Christchurch 8081**

Join us for a relaxed dads’ walk, some fresh air, great views and good company.

We’ll head up to the hillside Cave for a walk, a snack and a chance to put life’s challenges aside for a while.

**What to expect:**

* 🕚 Meet at **11am** at the car park, walk starts at **11:15am**
* 🚶 Relaxed walk and time to connect
* 👨‍👧‍👦 **Kids are welcome too**
* 💧 Water and snacks provided
* 🌄 Great views

**All dads are welcome.**

A Fresh Start🏠✨

We have some amazing news. A dad we are supporting has recently secured a three-bedroom home for himself and his children. After a difficult period, having a place they can finally call home is a huge step forward.

Now we want to help turn that house into a warm, welcoming home for his family.

We are looking for good-quality furniture 🛋️, kitchen items 🍽️, bedding 🛏️, appliances and other household essentials to help make this house a home.
