The Hazara Association of Canterbury extends its deepest condolences following the tragic and senseless attack at Bondi Beach, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives in a public space intended for safety, community, and peaceful celebration.
This devastating act of violence has caused widespread grief and shock across Australia and beyond. As families and communities prepare for travel and holiday observances, this tragedy has cast a heavy shadow over what should have been a time of reflection, unity, and peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families who are facing unimaginable loss. We also extend our support to those who were injured and are recovering, to the Jewish community, and to all Australians affected by this horrific event.
The Hazara Association of Canterbury strongly condemns all forms of hatred, racism, and violence. Such acts have no place in our society and threaten the safety and harmony of our communities. We stand in solidarity with all communities and reaffirm our shared commitment to compassion, respect, humanity, and peace.
At this difficult time, we call for unity, understanding, and care for one another, and for collective efforts to reject hate in all its forms.
