Wonderful news!
Our dream of setting up an endowment fund is now a reality!
A huge thank you to Cambridge local Kevin Burgess and the Momentum Waikato Community Foundation team for everything they have done to assist establishing the 'Friends of Resthaven Foundation Trust Fund' as a Momentum Waikato fund.

Setting up this endowment fund is an important step for us. It will help support services and provide resources for seniors, with the future of Cambridge Resthaven and the Cambridge community at heart.

The Fund has launched with $50,000, and donations to the Fund will grow its capital, providing a perpetual income stream.

To read more about the Fund: https://momentumwaikato.nz/friendsofresthavenfoundationfund

This Foundation actively fundraises for projects and activities that support Resthaven residents and/or the wider elderly population of Cambridge.

10 new recliner chairs are making life a whole lot more comfortable for Cambridge Resthaven's residents! And it’s all thanks to our little bit of golfing magic at our Golf Day fundraiser - it totally exceeded all expectations, netting $11,700! ⛳️ ✨

So, a big thank you to everyone who swung a club, sponsored a hole, donated prizes, or volunteered on the day. Your generosity is now providing plenty of comfort, one cup of tea at a time! ☕️💙 And we couldn't have done it without you...

The sun came out for our Charity Golf Day! ⛳️☀️And what an afternoon it was - we were chuffed to have a grand total of 17 teams. 💫🌟There was lots of good banter and golf for a good cause! We want to say a huge thank you to the amazing supporters, sponsors, helpers and teams on the day (and we have lots of photos to share over the next few days📷📷).
To the Lions Club of Cambridge - a massive thank you for supporting us on the day. You organised the registration tent, helped on the day, and even entered two teams. ⛳️🎉
To all our sponsors for the day - thank you so much. It meant we could run this fundraiser knowing we could provide a great day for everyone and have fabulous prizes across so many categories. ✨❤️
