What a fantastic weekend our Under 13 Boys Team had down in Christchurch at the Festival. A great bunch of lads that all improved their skills and understanding of the game, wearing their shirts with pride. They had some outstanding games with 2 wins and a very close 3-2 loss, unfortunately the Sunday afternoon games were
cancelled due to the terrible weather
that hit Christchurch.
The "Marlborough Mallards "have definitely set the standard for the future , very exciting to see their progress.
A very big thank you to their amazing coaches , Millie and Emma, and their
wonderful manager, Anna. The boys were certainly in great hands with you all and learnt so much. Also we had some wonderful supporters make the trip down to support the lads too!

With our AGM coming up, Hockey Marlborough has volunteer Board Member vacancies available. We’re looking for people who can bring fresh ideas, energy and a willingness to contribute to the continued growth and success of hockey in our region.
There are many aspects to the roles of the board from finance to policies, strategic planning to facility management and more!
Whether you have governance experience or simply a passion for hockey and our community, we’d love to hear from you!

U14 SUPER CHALLENGE Muster registrations are NOW OPEN.

The U14 SUPER CHALLENGE is back in action for 2027 and muster registrations are now open. All players wishing to be considered for The Super Challenge must register and attend their respective Muster. The SUPER CHALLENGE itself takes place in April 2027 at St Peter’s in Cambridge.

Players are required to attend their musters in their relative regions below.
• North Harbour (Heat) - Northland, North Harbour, Auckland, Counties.
• Cambridge (Force) - Thames Valley, Waikato, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Poverty Bay.
• Palmerston North (Thunder) - Hawkes Bay, Whanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Horowhenua, Wellington.
• Christchurch (Storm) - Marlborough, Nelson, Buller, West Coast, Canterbury, Mid Canterbury.
• Otago (Storm) - South Canterbury, North Otago, Otago, Central Otago, Southland.
U14 players will mostly be born in 2013, 2014.
(Players must be aged 12 to 13 at December 31st 2026. Year 7 players aged 11 are also able to apply)
