TULA’I NGĀUE VILLAGE CONNECT 🌊

We are proud to welcome our 2026 cohort into the Tula’i Ngāue Pasifika Youth Leadership Programme. Our Year 12 and 13 students from across West Auckland have officially begun their leadership journey, grounded in Pacific values, identity, and growth.

Following a powerful start at our Youth Summit, we now look ahead to our next key moment, bringing together our young people and their families.

Village Connect Evening details:

6pm–8pm (dinner provided)

WHERE:
HubWest Hall, Henderson

This is a space to connect, meet the team, learn more about the journey ahead, and share time together as a village. Each student is welcome to bring one or two members of their aiga or whānau.

Pasifika Festival is a weekend filled of culture, represented through the arts, music, food & crafts & we had the privilege of attending this year’s festival last weekend! 🤩

We got to speak to a few familiar faces & ask why is it so significant we continue to have Pasifika Festival annually here in Tāmaki Makaurau & their answers did not disappoint!

Our team has throughly enjoyed our past three days at the festival, supporting our tuakana, alumni & partnered schools & we could not be more proud of all the passion & hard work that went into each performance! Last night, we gathered as the Tula’i Governance Board and Tula’i Staff to close out the year! 🤩

An end-of-year dinner to acknowledge the hard work, commitment and heart that went into making this year such a success. From big wins to quiet moments behind the scenes, every part played helped move our kaupapa forward.

Grateful for a board that leads with vision and integrity, and a team that shows up every day for our rangatahi and community. Thank you for the dedication, the laughs and the belief in what we do.

Here’s to celebrating how far we’ve come — and looking ahead to an even stronger year together ✨

Our six schools for Tula’i IG have officially wrapped up their excursions with Adventure Specialists Trust — and what an incredible journey it’s been! 🙌🏽✨

From high ropes to rock climbing, our students pushed past their fears, stepped outside their comfort zones, and discovered just how capable they truly are. Through every climb and challenge, they learnt resilience, teamwork, trust, leadership, and the power of believing in themselves.

We’re so proud of the courage they showed and the growth they’ve gained along the way. 🌺💪🏽

As our 8-week Tula’i IG programme comes to an end tomorrow, we look forward to celebrating their achievements at our graduation ceremony. What a journey it has been — and this is only the beginning! 🎓✨
