This June, experience the energy, tradition, and spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival right here in Hobsonville!
Join us at Dragon Boat Festival on the Point — Auckland’s first-ever Land Dragon Boat Race — for an afternoon filled with culture, teamwork, food, and community celebration inspired by the traditions of the Duanwu Festival (端午节) AKA Dragon Boat Featival.

4-5:30 cultural performances (lion dance, face changing, K-pop, martial arts, piano recitals, Chinese classic dances etc)
5:45-6:15 inflatable costume race
5-7pm food trucks and other activities (pickle ball, mahjong, calligraphy, paper cutting etc)
