The Skiffy Rivets will be back as guests at the Auckland Bluegrass Club this Wednesday to entertain with a musical roller coaster of humour, heartbreak, regrets, flippancy, nostalgia, blame, and of course love.

In a break with true bluegrass tradition, they warn there will be no whiskey songs. However, they reassure that the lack of, alcohol laments is not a moral stance, it’s just that there was no room left in the set list after covering all those other emotions.

Anyway, if you haven’t heard the Skiffy Rivets before you’re in for a treat. If you are a loyal fan, you are still in for a treat, because they have a whole lot of new exciting songs.

Auckland Bluegrass Club Night has moved to The Bunker for the next few months
When: Wednesday, 8 April (2nd Wednesday of the month)
Times: Doors from 7:00 PM, Floor Singers from 7:30 PM
