A captioned cinema experience? Yes please! 🎞️ 🍿

Film Festival continues to champion accessibility, offering captioned screenings so more people can enjoy stories on the big screen. We were proud to support the festival again this year by providing captions for a few of the films.

Their website has all the details for captioned sessions in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga - with audio-described on-demand versions coming soon (stay tuned).

From the creators of Waru and Vai, this eight-part series weaves political, personal and cultural journeys with 30 % of the dialogue in te reo Māori. The series follows five perspectives — each revealing a different side of one life-changing hour.

Tangata Pai kicks off this week – catch the premiere with captions and audio description on Tuesday 16 September at 8.30pm on Three.
