A big thank you to Diabetes NZ for visiting our MAAMA group today 🖤💛

Our elders had the opportunity to learn more about diabetes, the importance of healthy eating, and ways to better look after their health and wellbeing. The free diabetics testing was also greatly appreciated and provided valuable support for our community.

It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our colleague, Foma’i, who was laid to rest yesterday.

Foma’i was a valued member of our Whānau Ora team here at TOA Pacific, a dedicated social worker who gave so much to the communities he served. He will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him.

As a proud Samoan, Foma’i carried himself with warmth, respect, and a strong sense of service that reflected his culture and values.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family, loved ones, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
