6th Joe-Pete NZ Cricket Encounter – Wellington

On 29 March 2026 at Alex Moore Park, the Peterites went down in a thrilling contest, falling short by just 3 runs.

Captained by Herschelle Hendricks, it was a hard-fought encounter that once again showcased the intensity of the rivalry. Despite the result, the Peterites still lead the series 4–2.

Inaugural Cricket Encounter vs Maris Stella – Auckland

On 15 February 2026, Old Peterites took on Maris Stella in their first-ever encounter in New Zealand and secured a solid 25-run victory.

Shannon Wimalaratne was named Man of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance (59 runs & 3 wickets). A strong start to a new chapter of Peterite cricket in Aotearoa.

Joe-Pete NZ – Champions 4 Years in a Row

From 2022 to 2025, Old Peterites have claimed four consecutive victories in the Joe-Pete NZ Encounter.

5th Joe-Pete NZ Cricket Encounter – Auckland

On 16 March 2025 at Takapuna District Cricket Club, the Peterites secured a strong 5-wicket victory in the 5th Joe-Pete NZ Encounter.

Captained by Lahiru Manawadu, with Shannon Wimalaratne named Man of the Match for his 67 runs, this win marked four consecutive victories in the series.

Festival of Cricket - Auckland

Old Peterites fielded a strong squad at the Festival of Cricket in Auckland, captained by Herschelle Hendricks.

The side went unbeaten in the first round before falling in the Semi Finals.
