Xtreme Rhythmix at NHG Gymnastics Home of Xtreme Rhythmix at NHG Gymnastics We are an Auckland based rhythmic gymnastics club in New Zealand.

Xtreme gymnasts follow Gymsports New Zealand as well as the Federation of International Gymnastics guidelines and regulations.

Just a reminder that today is the last day of Term 1. There is no training on Friday, Sunday and Monday due to public holidays. There is holiday training on Saturday for those who signed up.
Term 2 begins on Monday, April 20th!

Xtreme Rhythmix at North Harbour Gymnastics (NHG) will be hosting a selection for gymnasts born in 2012 and 2013.
The aim of this group is selection to represent New Zealand at international competitions, including the 2027 Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Gymnasts selected for this group would be required to compete at the Gymnastics New Zealand selection event in 2027.
Being part of this programme will require a significant commitment of both time and financial resources from the gymnast and their family.
Training Structure
2026 (until Nationals):
Training 1–2 times per week
Sessions will be primarily held on Saturdays
Intensive training camps will be scheduled during school holidays
Post–Nationals 2026 onwards:
Training will increase to 5 sessions per week
Gymnasts will be required to focus exclusively on group training
The Junior International Group will train two routines:
5 Balls
5 Ribbons
All training will be based at NHG’s main gymnasium, Eventfinda Stadium, Silverfield (North Shore, Auckland).
Selection Criteria
We are seeking 6–7 gymnasts who:
Were born in 2012 or 2013
Are of an international performance standard
Are able to commit fully to the group programme
Hold a New Zealand passport
Have prior rhythmic gymnastics experience (essential)
Any gymnast selected will become a member of Xtreme Rhythmix from Term 4 2026, unless they are already registered member. Please note that gymnasts may only be affiliated to one club.
Please note that all costs associated with training, competitions, leotards, travel, and equipment will be the responsibility of the family.
If a minimum of six suitable gymnasts cannot be selected, the group will unfortunately not proceed.
Coaching Team
The group will be coached by Marnie Sterner, assisted by Jade Faulkner. Both coaches bring many years of international coaching and judging experience.
Selection Details
Date: Saturday, March 7 from 11:30-2:30
Location: NHG Main Gym, Eventfinda Stadium, Silverfield
