๐Ÿ’— Cancer touches us all.

If you've experienced cancer, you'll know that the everyday impacts can be just as challenging as the diagnosis itself.

That's why this Still Me September, we're inviting our community to come together and help ensure no one faces cancer alone.

It doesn't need to be big or complicated. Host a cuppa with friends, organise a small raffle, hold a bake sale, or simply bring people together for a good cause.

Every dollar raised helps provide free practical support, trusted information, education and connection for people navigating the everyday impacts of cancer.

Because no one understands the importance of support better than someone who has needed it themselves.

Hello friends! Happy Friendship day ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒ International Day of Friendship ๐Ÿ’™

Every act of kindness, every hand extended in welcome, every friendship built on trust strengthens the communities around us.

In Inner Wheel we believe that when women connect with purpose they create meaningful impact and become part of a global community that reaches far beyond borders.

This International Day of Friendship, 30 July, let's celebrate the connections that bring us together, inspire us to act, and remind us that we are never alone.

Stalking became a crime in NZ 2 months ago. These resources are so helpful for anyone.

Introducing Recognise, Respond, Support: Practical workplace responses to stalking!

Stalking became a crime in New Zealand two months ago, and today weโ€™re launching a guide in partnership with Shine and Human Resources New Zealand to equip workplaces with practical guidance and tools to support employees experiencing stalking ๐Ÿ“–

Work can be a place of safety, but it can also be used by perpetrators to contact, monitor, follow and approach victim-survivors.

Respond, Recognise, Support helps employers prepare for and respond when staff experience stalking, inside or outside work. The guide takes an employee-led approach.

In the guide you'll find
๐Ÿ’œ Advice for employers on how to support employees experiencing stalking
๐Ÿ’œ Signs of what employees might be feeling
๐Ÿ’œ Conversation prompts
๐Ÿ’œ Legal advice
๐Ÿ’œ Contact details for support agencies

Time to get planning for action...

09/07/2026

Matariki is a time to reflect, say thanks, and set intentions for the year ahead โ€” something Inner Wheel members have done in their own way for 100 years.

For us, that means: real friendships that support each other, hands-on service in our communities, and connections with women around the world.

What's one thing you want your club to do more of this year?

As part of Shineโ€™s annual Light It Orange Appeal, this powerful display represents hope for those experiencing family violence and signals the start of a month dedicated to fundraising and awareness.

In Aotearoa, 55% of women experience family violence in their lifetime, a reminder of just how important this work is.

This July, you can help us make a difference.

Together, we can support women, children and families in crisis.
