After sustained pressure from teachers, principals, and education unions, the Government has delayed the rollout of the new curriculum timeline, a significant win for educators across Aotearoa.

Teachers have been clear from the beginning: rushed curriculum changes without enough time, support, or resourcing would put unnecessary pressure on schools, kaiako, and ākonga.
