The Aum Old Age Home situated within a 5 Ropani land in Sano Thimi, Madhyapur Municipality, Ward No.- 17 to help senior citizens, besides providing them free food shelter, cloths & medical treatment etc.. At present there are about 8 elder females, presently this organization is run by collecting donation from kind , large hearted & social minded citizens of Kathmandu and also by the continuous fi
nancial support by our members. Presently we have a the living room constructed for the elders with some basic amenities, future plans include construction of a Library, Temple and other required facilities also we are planning to expand our living quarters for the capacity of 100 people. This Organization is providing special attention to the needy senior citizens by means of special medical attention with the help of its dedicated social workers. At this time, this privilege is available to a handful of people. Our main plan is to provide the same benefits to a larger section of people. This Organization aims to improve the health conditions, mental stability and gain self confidence among the elderly by organizing yoga & pravachana programs held by various renowned persons.
