We were honored to welcome the AEIN Luxembourg team for a field visit to Surkhet and our project communities. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to observe our ongoing initiatives firsthand and witness the positive changes driving community transformation.
During the visit, the team engaged in meaningful discussions with child clubs, women’s groups, GVB alliance, cluster groups, farmers, teachers, and beneficiary families. Our conversations centered on:
• 📚 Education support & child protection
• 🌱 Livelihood promotion & model farming practices
• 💧 Access to safe drinking water
• 🤰 Nutrition support for pregnant & lactating mothers
• 💪 Empowerment initiatives for children and youth
Seeing our community-based activities and local support systems in action highlighted the true power of collaboration. These exchanges have not only strengthened our partnership but also renewed our shared commitment to helping vulnerable families live with dignity and confidence.

The Nepal Nazareth Society, through its Navjyoti Center, successfully conducted a legal awareness training on gender-based violence (GBV) reduction in Indrapur, Birendranagar Ward No. 13.

The program was chaired by Sr. Rosita, Executive Director of Navjyoti Center, and honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Dipendra Raj Koirala, Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 13. The training was facilitated by Advocate Ms. Gita Koirala, who shared valuable insights on legal provisions and response mechanisms related to GBV.

The event was further enriched by the participation of Mr. Khem KC, Head Constable from the Temporary Police Post, Mr. Surendra Khadka, Chairperson of Indrapur Tole Development Committee, Mr. Krishna Gharti, and other respected community members.

The training aimed to strengthen community awareness on GBV, promote access to justice, and enhance local-level engagement in protecting the rights and dignity of women and vulnerable groups.

With the financial support of , , , successfully inaugurated a five-month tailoring (sewing and cutting) training program under the Women and Children Empowerment Project implemented in Barahatal Rural Municipality.

The training, conducted in Ward No. 5, Baddichaur, engaged 10 women and aims to equip them with practical tailoring skills, enabling sustainable livelihoods, fostering self-reliance, and strengthening their economic empowerment. 🌱✂️

AEIN लगजम्बरको आर्थिक सहयोगमा नवज्योति केन्द्रको आयोजनामा ६ महिने सीप तथा सशक्तिकरण तालिमको सहभागी हरूलाई मानव बेचबिखन सम्बन्धी तालिम सञ्चालन गरियो। उक्त तालिममा चारवटा जिल्लाका २२ जना महिला तथा किशोरी बहिनीहरूलाई तालिममा सहभागी गराइएको थियो। सहभागी सम्पूर्ण लाई हार्दिक धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्दछु।🙏🙏🙏🙏

With the financial support of , a training on human trafficking was successfully conducted for the participants of the six-month Life skill training, organized by .
The training brought together 22 women and adolescent girls from four districts, enhancing their awareness and understanding of human trafficking, its risks, and prevention measures.

📚✨ Two-Day Teacher Capacity Building Workshop Successfully Completed ✨📚

Under the Livelihood and Resilience Program for Poverty Alleviation, with the financial support of AEIN Luxembourg, the two-day Teacher Capacity Building Workshop was successfully conducted with the active participation of dedicated educators.

The workshop strengthened teachers’ skills in modern teaching methodologies, child-friendly classroom practices, effective classroom management, leadership development, and inclusive education approaches.

Participants expressed their commitment to applying the newly learned skills in their classrooms to enhance students’ learning outcomes and foster a more engaging, supportive learning environment. 🌱📖
