We envision a society - without disparities on drug addiction and HIV. We are legally registered in District Administration Office, Kaski and affiliated with Social welfare Council, Ministry of Home Affairs and Recovering Nepal, National network of Drug users. Currently, GWF Nepal is running a Drug rehabilitation center (DRC) and a Post rehabilitation center (PRC). In addition, GWF, Nepal has also implemented Needle syringe exchange program and BCC program in 2008. It was supported by Recovering Nepal under Partner Support Fund (PSF) funded by UNDP. We provide 8 free treatments and 24 affordable treatment every year. The DRC is sustained with collection of minimum amount of fees from the enrolled clients. And PRC is a continuum of care for the recovering drug users (RDU) supported by Save the Children under GFATM Rd 7. It is implemented in collaboration with Community Support Group (CSG). We have further plans of starting integrated services that includes Drug treatment and rehabilitation, Harm reduction components like OST, NSEP, BCC etc, VCT/STI testing etc.
