**Trash Hunt Program Conducted in Sikles Village**
Under the coordination of the Sikles Hotel Management Committee in collaboration with NTNC ACAP Sikles, a successful Trash Hunt Program was organized in Sikles village including the Sikles Park area.
The program aimed to promote cleanliness, proper waste management, environmental conservation, and sustainable tourism in the village. Local hotel operators actively participated in collecting and managing waste from public areas, trails, and the park surroundings.
Such collective efforts play an important role in keeping Sikles clean, beautiful, and welcoming for both visitors and the local community. Special thanks to all participants and supporters for their valuable contribution toward conservation and responsible tourism promotion.

**Street Light Installation at Yangjakot**

With the support of NTNC ACAP Sikles and in coordination with Madi Rural Municipality, a total of 101 street lights have been successfully installed at Yangjakot.

This initiative will greatly improve nighttime visibility, enhance community safety, and support local livelihoods and tourism activities in the area.

NTNC ACAP Sikles remains committed to working together with local stakeholders for sustainable community development and improving the quality of life of local residents.

**Sikles Mother Group Meeting**

A meeting was successfully held with the Sikles Mother Group to discuss office material purchase and the implementation of the Sisno powder branding through GBCRP program. The discussion focused on effective management of office resources, strengthening group activities, and promoting sustainable sisno-related livelihood and conservation initiatives.

**Meeting with GTEAN representative**
A short meeting was held with representatives of GTEAN, Kaski to discuss tourism promotion, conservation activities, and future collaboration opportunities in the Annapurna Conservation Area. The discussion focused on the promotion of the Gurung Heritage Trail, trail improvement, drinking water management, signage installation, and map upgrading for better visitor information and experience.

With the objective of conserving Sabupokhari pond of Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) (CAMC Mijuredada) and supporting wildlife, a conservation initiative has been undertaken focusing on both environmental protection and tourism promotion.

Key activities include:

• Development of resting spots for visitors and wildlife observation.
• Improvement of trails to enhance accessibility and visitor experience.

**Invasive Species Removal and Management – Nagidhar (ACA)**
Under the coordination of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Sikles Unit Office, an invasive plant species removal and management activity was successfully conducted in the Nagidhar area.
The program was carried out with the active participation of local community members, forest user groups, and conservation stakeholders. अन्नपूर्ण संरक्षण क्षेत्र अन्तर्गत पर्ने मीजुरे–सबुपोखरी क्षेत्रमा नियमित बन गस्ती सम्पन्न गरिएको छ। इलाका संरक्षण कार्यालय, संरक्षण क्षेत्र व्यवस्थापन समिति, हेरालो तथा स्थानीय सरोकारवालाहरूको संयुक्त सहभागितामा गस्ती सञ्चालन गरिएको हो।
गस्तीका क्रममा वन तथा वन्यजन्तुको संरक्षण अवस्था अवलोकन, अवैध क्रियाकलाप नियन्त्रण, पदमार्ग अनुगमन तथा सरसफाइ अवस्थाको निरीक्षण गरिएको थियो। यस्ता गस्ती कार्यक्रमहरूले संरक्षण सचेतना अभिवृद्धि गर्नुका साथै स्थानीय समुदायको सक्रिय सहभागितामा दीगो संरक्षण कार्यलाई थप सुदृढ बनाउने विश्वास लिइएको छ।

**Invasive Alian Plant species Removal and Composting activities- Poshi**
An effective Invasive Alien Plant Species Removal and Composting Activity was successfully conducted in Poshi with the active participation of the local community.
During the program, invasive plant species were identified and removed from surrounding areas to help restore the natural ecosystem and reduce their negative impact on native biodiversity. Participants were also trained on proper composting techniques, where the removed plant materials were utilized to produce organic compost.
