स्वाबलम्बन जीवनपद्धती केन्द्र–पोखरा (Independent Living Centre–Pokhara) द्वारा आयोजित Disability Inclusive Education तथा Universal Design for Learning (UDL) सम्बन्धी दुई दिने तालिम कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको छ।

📢 Successful Completion of Training on Disability Inclusive Education & UDL
The Independent Living Centre–Pokhara (स्वाबलम्बन जीवनपद्धती केन्द्र–पोखरा) successfully conducted a two-day training on Disability Inclusive Education and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
📅 Date: Chaitra 9 & 10, 2082 2026 March 23 and 24
📍 Venue: Saiman Party Palace, Pokhara

🌟 A Powerful Voice for Inclusion Through Drama 🎭

Today’s live session was more than just a performance—it was a heartfelt expression of reality, resilience, and hope. Parents of children with disabilities and dedicated teachers came together to present a moving drama on the theme:

“Access to Education of Children with Disabilities.”

Through their powerful acting, they brought to life the everyday struggles, barriers, and emotional journeys faced by children and their families. From lack of accessible infrastructure to social stigma, the drama highlighted the urgent need for inclusive education systems that leave no child behind.

But beyond the challenges, the performance also carried a strong message of possibility—when communities unite, when educators care, and when parents advocate, change becomes inevitable.

👏 A huge appreciation to all the parents and teachers who courageously shared their voices and stories.
💙 Let us all commit to building a more inclusive, accessible, and compassionate education system for every child.

आजको दिन हामी विशेषगरी अपाङ्गता भएका महिलाहरू को अधिकार, समानता र सम्मानको पक्षमा हाम्रो प्रतिबद्धता पुनः दोहोर्याउँछौं। समाजमा हरेक महिला-उनीहरुको क्षमता जस्तोसुकै भए पनि-आफ्नो जीवन स्वतन्त्र रूपमा जिउन, निर्णय लिन, शिक्षा, रोजगारी, नेतृत्व र सामाजिक सहभागितामा समान अवसर पाउन अधिकार राख्छिन्।

Voting is not just a civic duty; it is a fundamental right. An inclusive election ensures that persons with disabilities can participate independently, safely, and with dignity. Accessibility is not an option -it is a responsibility.
