CASD-Nepal (Common Action for Sustainable Development in Nepal) is a non-profit organization (NGO). art with a little help and support where it is most needed. Our office is based in Dedhgaun VDC, Ward No. 9, Nawalparasi District. Nawalparasi is a 2 162 square meters district in the center of Nepal. It regroups a large geographical diversity such as Teraï, a jungle like area, Inner Teraï and hilly areas, filled with small villages. Only part of those villages have running water installed today, the majority of the population has to travel a long distance to get to a stream of water, not usually clear or clean. Our experience of the local communities has allowed us to establish an effective collaborative team of local and international workers from various horizons, such as education, communication, engineering and health. Direct interaction with the communities has been proven to be very motivating for everyone. We believe that the population in need has to participate in the realization of the project for it to be a real success. It is the only way to create a forever lasting bond. That is why we encourage the community to get involve, to be a part of the development actions. Our projects are financed through generous donations motivated by an urge to be part of our life changing actions in Nepal most remote regions.
