Women Self Help Centre (WSHC) Bharte, Lamjung is non-profit making social organization.WSHC is a membership based organization and it established with local level strong network which basically comprises their members and the Regional Commitees .WSHC was established in 2048 BS as an organization and got registration no before by legally registered in District Administration Offi
ce,Lamjung with REG.No-17/2049/04/27 according to the Organization Registration Act 2034. WSHC is affiliated with Social Welfare Council (Reg No.8130), has got pan card no (301165619) and tax free certificate from the Inland Revinue Office of the government Authority. WSHC was established with aim of the rising united voice against social abuse and violence against women and children who are deprived of basic rights and opportunities. WSHC has been implementing programs for empowering women and children especially janajatis, dalits and other marginalized section that are socially and economically vulnerable . WSHC is mainly focused on involving the local women and incorporates their aspiration and priorities in its program planning , implementations and ensure participation in the decisions making process. WSHC strongly upholds basic rights of women and children in the community and promote their participation in social development processes . WSHC has gained recognition as a reputed NGO both at the community and district levels for empowering women through social mobilization activities . The organization always focuses on their local structure that is based on the members and its regional committee as a root institution . WSHC is currently working is a whole of the district and the organization has envisioned that in the future we would expand our activities in the entire VDCS of Lamjung district and also beyond the district. Empowering and strengthen the capacity of socially, culturally and economically vulnerable people who are deprived of basic rights and opportunites in the communities including children , Youth, Women and other marginalize group for advocating for realization of their rights . The organization envisions working jointly with the communities as well as authorities for collaborative efforts and by having networking for ushering positive changes in the lives of community people .
