Rotary Club of Mount Everest, Lalitpur (Club ID: 53985) was chartered on the 30th of June 2000 with 24 members under Rotary International District 3292 Nepal Bhutan. Currently the club has total 29 members. Rotary Club of Mount Everest, Lalitpur is actively involved with various organizations to expand its community service by addressing seven major areas of focus such as promoting peace, fighting

disease, providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene, saving mothers & children, supporting education, growing local economies and protecting the environment. In addition to these focus areas, Rotary Club of Mount Everest has adopted Support to Culture and Heritage as its focus area. This focus area has been adopted by the Rotary District 3292. Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur is the first club to organize the Ethics Symposium among RI District 3292 Clubs.

Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur with support from Hopeful Horizons - center for well-being organized a Mental Health Awareness Camp at Khokna, Lalitpur on 6thJune, 2026.

The camp was targeted for the parents of students from Shree Rudrayani Secondary School.
35participants from the local community attended the Camp and benefited from the expert presentation by Dr. Anjela Regmi and Dr. Prakriti Pradhan.

Our new member Rtn. Shiva Shrestha – Chief Operations Officer of Innovax Solutions, gave his Classification Talk during Rotary Weekly Meeting RWM #1242 on 24th May, 2026.
A Rotary classification talk is a brief introductory presentation where a new member shares their profession, background, and personal story.
He shared his professional background and skills working as an IT professional in Nepal. He also shared his perspective on the need of Digital Transformation in various enterprises in Nepal. His company is an “Official Odoo Enterprise Partner”, and provides a suite of open-source business apps that cover all company needs: CRM, eCommerce, accounting, inventory, point of sale, project management, etc.

Hearing Aid Follow-up Program
A “Hearing Aid Follow-up Program” was jointly organized on 23rd May, 2026 by Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur, Patan East , with technical assistance from Nepal ENT Center, and generous support from Rotary Club of Chatswood International, D9685 NSW Australia.
This follow-up program was organized as a continuation to our earlier "Ear & Listening Capability Screening Camp" (2nd November 2025), and “Hearing Aid Handover Program” (17th January 2026) at Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School, Khokna, Lalitpur.

Hearing aid users were screened for device usability, and given counselling on their effective use, proper maintenance, and necessary regular follow-ups.

Out of 40 patients who received free Hearing aids in earlier programs, 20 patients came to follow-up program.
