Annual Tree Plantation Program
22August, 2026:
Event Overview: As part of a Rotary campaign to protect the environment and promote greenery, 127 fruit tree saplings were planted at Shree Gupteshwor Secondary School in Dhunge, Nallu, Konjyosom Rural Municipality, Lalitpur District.
Participants: The planting was carried out by members and families of RC Mount Everest Lalitpur, school students and teachers, and volunteers from event partner Ace the Himalaya.
Educational Impact: To teach sustainability, students will continuously nurture the trees as they grow and taste the fruits too! This ongoing care fosters deep responsibility, ensures sapling survival, and builds lifelong ecological skills.
Supporting Partners: Special gratitude goes to supporting partners Green Valley Green Nepal, Gautam Nursery, I Am The Gardener, NEW-Initiative, Nepal Adarsh Nirman Company, and Kathmandu Engineering College for helping make the event a success.
