Project PULSE calls YOU (age 15-30) to create a 2-5 minute video on “How Climate Change Fuels AMR in Nepal”! Win NPR 15,000 + national recognition! 🏆

Show the link between climate change & antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through documentaries, animations, PSAs, or short films. Use real stories, data, or solutions!

📌 GUIDELINES:
✅ Who? Priority to Youth Against AMR Club/Network members. Open to all Nepali youth (15-30).
✅ Video Rules: 2-5 mins, MP4/MOV (HD), Nepali/English/local languages (subtitles encouraged). Original content only!

In a significant move towards advancing concerted action on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Climate Change, we are pleased to share the successful holding of the Project Agreement Meeting with selected youth-led clubs, the AMR Club of PHE, and the NYC AMR secretariat. This historic meeting formally launched Project PULSE, with the momentum built during this agreement session, we stand poised to advance our combined vision into practical, community-driven interventions.

With today's Day 2 training session on Participatory Action Research, we have officially wrapped up the data collection training for Project PULSE!

Our club extends heartfelt thanks to all the participants who joined the Day 1 training of Project PULSE on qualitative research. A total of 92 participants from 9 clubs took part in the session. We are proud to be part of this project, collaborating with enthusiastic youths from all seven provinces of Nepal to address the intersection of climate change and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

📣 Announcing the Selected Grantee AMR Clubs for Project PULSE!

We’re thrilled to unveil the clubs that have been selected to implement Project PULSE – Participatory Understanding of Local Superbugs in Climate Emergencies 🌍🦠 – a pioneering youth-led research initiative by NYC-AMR and the AMR Club of Public Health Enthusiasts.

This selection was made through a careful and fair process by an independent assessment team, using clearly defined criteria including motivation, research clarity, team capacity, experience, and creativity in engagement strategies.

📝 Project PULSE aims to explore the critical intersection of climate change and antimicrobial resistance (CC x AMR) through local-level research and youth-led storytelling.

📆 Upcoming Training:
All selected AMR Clubs are invited to attend a mandatory virtual training session on April 26th and 27th, 2025, where they’ll build skills in data collection, participatory research, and impactful storytelling.
