Awana Nepal "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed".

Awana is a fully integrated program for children ages 6 to 15 that actively involves children's parents, leaders, and mentors. At Awana, we believe that God has placed us strategically for such a time as this, to equip leaders in Nepal to train children to know, love, and serve their creator. Established in 1999, the blessings and favor of God have opened many doors for Awana Nepal to be a great

blessing to the faith base people in Nepal. Each week Awana serves many kids and many leaders representing more Awana clubs in different districts of Nepal. Since there are only a few programs for discipleship for Nepali children, Awana has created an exciting new model for a ministry called Leader Based Strategy (LBS). This approach allows Awana to exponentially expand its ministry by focusing on training local faith base community leaders who can touch the lives of thousands of kids through the Awana program.
