📍 CSE TWG Meeting – Lumbini Province | 13 August 2026

The Lumbini Province-level Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting was successfully held in Bhalubang on 13 August 2026

The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss and review CSE implementation, school health, youth engagement, adolescent-friendly services, teacher capacity development, and inter-agency coordination.

🤝 Let’s strengthen collaboration and coordination to advance quality, inclusive, and adolescent-responsive CSE for every young person.

Provincial CSE Technical Working Group Meeting – Sudurpashchim Province !!!!!

The Provincial CSE Technical Working Group (CSE-TWG) Meeting was held in Sudurpashchim Province on 14 Aug 2026 under the chairpersonship of Mr. Jaydev Mahara, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Social Development (MoSD), bringing together representatives from government bodies, including Health, Education, Youth and Social Development, as well as UN agencies (UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO), CSOs, development partners, Teachers’ Federation, teachers, students and adolescents.

Key discussions focused on CSE and School Health Promotion Initiatives in Nepal, CSE and ASRH progress updates, localization of CSE in local curricula, and experiences from the Safe Girls Project. The meeting also discussed the School Health Nurse and Nursing Service Guideline, Complaint Response Procedure 2077, and the CSE-TWG ToR.

A key commitment from the meeting was made by Mr. Jaydev Mahara, who expressed commitment to integrating CSE into Teacher Professional Development (TPD) training and advocating for dedicated provincial-level budget to conduct CSE-related teacher training.

🤝 Strengthening coordination, capacity and investment at the provincial level is vital to ensure quality CSE reaches every adolescent and young person.

FPAN Head Office – Celebrating International Youth Day 2026! 🌟

FPAN Head Office joined the International Youth Day 2026 celebration organized by the National Youth Council at Academy Hall, Kamaladi, featuring stalls and engaging youth-focused activities. The event was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security in the presence of distinguished guests and delegates.

In collaboration with the National CSE Coalition, FPAN showcased IEC materials and engaged young people through interactive activities. FPAN Youth Volunteers and Peer Educators also collected youth voices around the question:

“Different Contexts, Common Aspirations: What is ONE change you want in SRH, CSE or youth-friendly services so every young person can achieve their aspirations?”

Young people actively participated and shared their thoughts and aspirations. This youth voice collection began with young people visiting the FPAN Head Office clinic and reached its meaningful conclusion at today’s national youth event—creating a continuous platform to listen to and amplify youth voices.
