From Nepal to Australia ЁЯЗ│ЁЯЗ╡ЁЯМП
Hira Dahal, Executive Director of Chhori, participated in the Women Deliver Conference 2026 in Australia тАФ one of the worldтАЩs most important global platforms advancing gender equality, womenтАЩs rights, and the protection of girls. ЁЯСйтАНтЪЦя╕ПЁЯМН
Why do spaces like this matter so much?
Because decisions about girlsтАЩ lives are too often made without girls being part of the conversation. ЁЯЧгя╕П
Across the world, millions of girls continue to face violence, exploitation, child marriage, lack of education, unsafe migration, and limited access to healthcare and protection. Yet their realities remain underrepresented in political discussions, development agendas, and international decision-making spaces.
Women Deliver brings together governments, activists, organizations, and young leaders to push these issues into the global spotlight тАФ where they belong. ЁЯМНтЬи
This yearтАЩs discussions focused on girlsтАЩ leadership, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), climate justice ЁЯМ▒, and the urgent need to center marginalized voices in policy and public discourse.
For Chhori, participation in this conference is not symbolic. It is part of a larger responsibility:to ensure that the realities faced by vulnerable girls are not overlooked, softened, or forgotten. ЁЯдН
Because girls are not a side issue in development. тЬКTheir safety ЁЯЫбя╕П, education ЁЯУЪ, dignity, and freedom are fundamental to the future of every society.
Real progress begins when girls are no longer spoken about only in moments of crisis тАФ but are consistently placed at the center of conversations, policies, and investments worldwide.
Now is the time to listen to girls. ЁЯОЩя╕ПNow is the time to include them. ЁЯдЭNow is the time to act. тЭдя╕П
