IN-SPAN Center of Excellence A non-profit Center of Excellence advancing Nepal’s startup ecosystem through incubation, technical collaboration, and India-Nepal innovation partnerships.

IN-SPAN Center of Excellence (CoE) is a non-profit, founder-led initiative dedicated to strengthening Nepal’s startup and innovation ecosystem through structured incubation, capacity building, and cross-border collaboration with India. Born out of the India–Nepal Startup Partnership Network (IN-SPAN) program, the Center aims to institutionalize the momentum created by the inaugural cohort of start

ups and transform it into a long-term platform for innovation, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem growth. The CoE works at the intersection of startups, academia, industry, and policy to enable:
• Startup incubation and venture development
• Technical collaboration and deep-tech integration
• Capacity building through trainings, workshops, and bootcamps
• Access to investors, mentors, and global networks
• Bilateral innovation partnerships between Nepal and India

Through strategic partnerships with leading institutions, including technical collaboration with IITM Pravartak and support from the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the IN-SPAN CoE is committed to building a self-sustaining, founder-driven innovation ecosystem in Nepal. By connecting ideas, people, and institutions, we aim to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to build scalable ventures and create lasting economic impact.

India in Nepal (Embassy of India Kathmandu) announces opening of selection process for the 2nd edition of IN-SPAN, an 8 week fully funded training programme at IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation.

The inaugural batch of IN-SPAN received tremendous response from Nepali Start-ups, with participation of 24 Start-ups. 9 of these received incubation offers from IITM Incubation Cell/ IITM Pravartak.

You could be the next Nepali Start-up to benefit from this unique mentorship programme.

The IN-SPAN Center of Excellence Logo Competition event was successfully held on May 5 at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu.

The event took place in the presence of Suman Sekhar, First Secretary (Commerce), along with our respected judges: Ashish Chapagain, Co-founder and Head of Design at Big Brackets; Shyam Adhikari, Head of Design at Leapfrog; and veteran artist and designer Ashok Man Singh.

We are proud to announce the winner of the competition, Prithu Bir Khatri, along with our runner-ups Kedar Singh and Aditya Pandey.

With the presence of talented participants and IN-SPAN CoE members, the event became a strong platform for creativity, ideas, and meaningful connections.

Well well, the wait is not yet over. We did not want to announce the result by just posting in our socials. So, we are calling it a event which is also a milestone for us as it will be the first ever meetup of "IN-SPAN Center of Excellence".

We would like to invite all of the participant to the meetup where we will be announcing the result of the logo competition.
