Since its establishment, we have been continuously active in the field of Nepali drama.
2010 (B.S. 2066): The awareness-raising street drama 'Pheri Yesto Nahos' (Let This Not Happen Aga
in), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged in Gorkha, Tanahun, and Dhading. Actors included Puru Lamsal, Jeevan Baral, Durga Bishwokarma, Manju Giri, Roshan Budhathoki, and Saroj Panta.
2010 (B.S. 2066): In collaboration with Radio Nepal, the theatre group recorded and broadcasted the awareness radio drama 'Tijko Lahar'. Actors included Puru Lamsal, Jeevan Baral, Durga Bishwokarma, Ganga Prasad Tiwari, Prakesh Sindhuliya, and Manju Giri.
2011 (B.S. 2067): In collaboration with Radio Nepal, 52 episodes of the radio drama 'Khane Mukh Lai Junga Le Chhekdaina' (A Moustache Does Not Block a Mouth That Eats) were prepared and broadcasted. Actors included Kamal Gaule, Lunibha Tuladhar, JB Ruwali, Puru Lamsal, Saraswati Chaudhary, Manju Giri, Jeevan Baral, and Durga Bishwokarma.
2011 (B.S. 2068): Under the direction of Puru Lamsal, Aadi-Ityadi transformed poetry into a dramatic format, prioritizing the style of poetry staging. They staged the poem 'Hayuni Budhi' (written by poet Prollas Sindhuliya) at Sarvanam Theatre, Kalikasthan. The drama, conceptualized and directed by Puru Lamsal, featured Lunibha Tuladhar and Puru Lamsal.
2011 (B.S. 2068): The poem 'Shalikh Haruko Desh' (The Country of Statues) by Babu Tripathi was staged at Nepal Academy, conceptualized and directed by Puru Lamsal. The poetry staging featured Puru Lamsal, Kamala Aanshu, Bimla Chimoriya, Udip Raj Dhungana, and Keshav Raj Nishchal.
2011 (B.S. 2068): Poet Hem Prabhash's poem 'Geetai Geetko Gaun' (The Village of Songs) was staged in Kathmandu. The poetry-drama, conceptualized and directed by Puru Lamsal, starred Hemprabhash and Praganna Sindhuliya.
2012 (B.S. 2069): Poet Prollas Sindhuliya's poem 'Kshyamayachana' (Apology) was staged in Chitwan. The poetry staging featured Puru Lamsal and Praganna Sindhuliya, with Puru Lamsal as the director and conceptualizer.
2014 (B.S. 2071): Aadi-Ityadi initiated the tradition of producing visual content by creating the documentary 'Ani Haribhakta Pharkienan' (And Haribhakta Didn't Return), based on the life of poet and lyricist Haribhakta Katuwal. Written by Prollas Sindhuliya, the documentary was produced and directed by Puru Lamsal. May 23-28, 2016 (B.S. 2073 Jestha 10-15): Tarani Dhi Bhattarai's play 'Amar Matritwa' (Immortal Motherhood) was staged at Sarvanam Theatre, conceptualized and directed by Puru Lamsal.
2016 (B.S. 2073): Prollas Sindhuliya's novel 'Shunya Degree' (Zero Degree) was adapted into a play and staged at Sarvanam Theatre, Kathmandu. Feb 11-13, 2017 (B.S. 2073 Magh 29 - Falgun 1): The play 'Phadke' (Jump/Leap), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged in collaboration with Manjari Theatre Group. Feb 1-3, 2018 (B.S. 2074 Magh 18-20): Aadi-Ityadi staged the play 'Panighatta' (Water Mill) in collaboration with Manjari Theatre Group, Lamjung. April 11, 2018 (B.S. 2074 Chaitra 28): The play 'Panighatta' was performed at Gandarva Theatre in Pokhara during the National Drama Festival organized by the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama. It was a joint presentation of Manjari Theatre Group and Aadi-Ityadi. June 8-9, 2018 (B.S. 2075 Jestha 25-26): The play 'Panighatta' was staged at the assembly hall of Bhakti Namuna Secondary School, Bhoteodar, Sundarbazar Municipality-9, under the direction of Puru Lamsal. February 2018 (B.S. 2074 Falgun 11-13): The play 'Panighatta' was staged at the International Drama Festival in Kolkata, India, organized by Rabindra Nagar Natyajuddha. July 3, 2018 (B.S. 2074 Ashar 18): On the birth anniversary of the famous poet and lyricist Haribhakta Katuwal, a special program was organized in Kathmandu, featuring a play by joining his poems. Conceptualized and directed by Puru Lamsal. September 22, 2018 (B.S. 2075 Ashoj 6): The awareness drama 'Biruddha Ma' (Against), focusing on violence against women, was performed in Siddha Gufa (cave), claimed to be the longest in Asia. Organized by Geetal Pratisthan and Natak Mancha Tanahun, and presented by Aadi-Ityadi, written and directed by Puru Lamsal. October 9-14, 2018: The play 'Naugadi' was selected to represent Nepal at the International Drama Festival in Bangladesh and was staged at the Bhumij Theatre Hall in Panchgarh Jalasirord. Written and directed by Puru Lamsal. October 6, 2018 (B.S. 2075 Ashoj 20): The play 'Naugadi' was staged in Kathmandu under the direction of Puru Lamsal. March 7-12, 2019 (B.S. 2075 Falgun 23-28): The play 'Naugadi' was staged at the Rara National Drama Festival, organized by the Cultural Corporation. It was a joint presentation of Manjari Theatre Group Lamjung and Aadi-Ityadi. April 13, 2019 (B.S. 2075 Chaitra 30): The awareness drama 'Home Stay', written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged at the birthplace of Adhikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, Chundi Ramgha, organized by Geetal Pratisthan and Natak Mancha, Tanahun. May 26-30, 2019 (B.S. 2076 Jestha 12-16): The awareness drama 'Naya Mit' (New Friend), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was performed at a community secondary school in Panchakanya Rural Municipality, Nuwakot. June 8-13, 2019 (B.S. 2076 Jestha 25-30): The awareness drama 'Tanki Ko Phool' (The Tanki Flower), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was performed in Doramba Rural Municipality, Ramechhap. September 13 - 29, 2019 (B.S. 2076 Bhadra 27 - Ashoj 12): The play 'Naugadi' had a regular run at Sarvanam Theatre, Kalikasthan. December 30, 2019: The play 'Deukashi', written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged in two shows at the Barisal Studio Theatre during the Shabdoboli International Drama Festival in Barisal, Bangladesh. January 10-17, 2021 (B.S. 2077 Poush 26 - Magh 3): The awareness drama 'Churo Kuro' (The Main Point), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged in Doramba Rural Municipality, Ramechhap. March 2-10, 2022 (B.S. 2078 Falgun 18-25): The play 'Milapatra' (Settlement/Compromise) was staged in Doramba Rural Municipality, Ramechhap, written and directed by Puru Lamsal. March 20-24, 2022 (B.S. 2078 Chaitra 6-10): The play 'Chhinophane' (Decision/Settlement) was performed in Panchakanya Rural Municipality, Nuwakot, written and directed by Puru Lamsal.
2022: Seven Nepali authors participated in the International Gwalior Literature Festival - 2022, organized by Udhbhav Sports and Cultural Association in coordination with Aadi-Ityadi group. January 1-5, 2023 (B.S. 2079 Poush 17-21): The play 'Junkiri' (Firefly), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was performed in Khanikhola Rural Municipality. March 8, 2023 (B.S. 2079 Falgun 24): The street drama 'Sachet Banaun' (Let's Be Conscious), written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was performed in Kharanitar, Nuwakot, on the occasion of the 113th International Women's Day. May 21-24, 2023 (B.S. 2080 Jestha 7-10): The awareness street drama 'Sankalpa' (Resolution/Pledge), presented by Aadi-Ityadi and organized by Panchakanya Rural Municipality, was staged in various community schools within the municipality. June 1, 2023 (B.S. 2080 Jestha 18): The play 'Sankalpa', written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was staged at Mean Secondary School Tharpu and Radha Secondary School Jamune, Tanahun, organized by Maghde Rural Municipality and coordinated by "Geetal Pratisthan Nepal and Natak Mancha." June 2-3, 2023 (B.S. 2080 Jestha 19-20): A two-day acting and theatre training workshop was held at Jan Ganapati Secondary School, Maghde-3, with youth playwright and Aadi-Ityadi President Puru Lamsal as the chief trainer. June 18-22, 2023 (B.S. 2080 Ashar 3-7): The play 'Junkiri', written and directed by Puru Lamsal, was performed in Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality.
