After Christmas, our team headed towards the Langtang region. The journey itself was a testament to the challenges of remote life. Our destination was the remote Shree Arukharka Basic School, and the sight of its welcoming community made every hardship instantly worthwhile.
Most of the trekking potters are from this region, this village forms the resilient backbone of Nepal's famed trekking industry. We encountered a reality far removed from the comforts of the city. It was a humbling reminder of the inequalities that persist within our nation's breathtaking landscapes.
We distributed warm jackets and durable school bags to 100 children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring that both the young learners and the valued elders were guarded against the mountain cold. To empower the school's administrative work and educational capacity, we also provided a printer, a vital tool for a remote institution.
In a gesture honoring the spiritual and cultural heart of the community, Pema Doma, presented a Buddha statue to the local monastery.
We were able to witness that the spirit of the people of Arukharka is immense, but their access to opportunity is not.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of Shree Arukharka Basic School, the local monastery, and every community member for their incredible warmth and resilience. We are very grateful to Nepali Rotznaschen and whole team for making this project successful.

On December 23, 2025, our team traveled to the villages of Sabet and Nayan Gaun in Annapurna, Kaski, to distribute essential winter supplies to needy communities .
Sabet, a hamlet rich in Gurung heritage, and the neighboring community of Nayan Gaun represent the diverse cultural tapestry of Gandaki Pradesh. While both villages are resilient, Nayan Gaun continues to face the entrenched challenges of historical and caste based marginalization.
Direct Support and Winter Relief
To help families navigate the harsh winter months, we distributed:
• 100 Jackets
• 100 Pairs of Socks
• 119 Traditional Caps (Topis)
A special portion of this distribution 19 topis was dedicated to the members of the village’s traditional band. These artists provide an invaluable cultural service, yet they belong to a community that has been historically marginalized.

We believe that sustainable change is driven by the „engines of resilience“ already present within these villages. To support local advocacy and family welfare, we presented:
• A donation of Rs. 25,000 to the Sabet Ama Samuha.
• A dedicated contribution to the Nayan Gaun Ama Samuha.
These Ama Samuhas (Mothers‘ Groups) are the backbone of their communities. By investing in their leadership, we are supporting the grassroots experts who best understand how to advocate for their families and drive inclusive progress
We are thankful to Nepali Rotznaschen for their support to help Nepali communities rise and grow .

Historically marginalized under the caste hierarchy, Dalit communities in Nepal still confront significant obstacles, including social stigma, limited access to resources, and higher rates of poverty. Education is the most powerful tool to break this cycle, yet students from these communities often lack the basic materials and encouragement needed to thrive.
With this purpose the NDF Foundation and Nepali Rotznaschen provided support to Shree Bagwati Secondary School with many Dalit students .
On 22nd December 2025 , we distributed essential supplies to 120 students, ensuring each child received a school bag and a warm jacket, providing both practical tools for learning and protection from the winter cold.
Understanding that a child’s development extends beyond the classroom, we also provided outdoor toys: 5 skipping ropes, 4 footballs, and a badminton set to encourage play, teamwork, and physical wellbeing. Each student received a chocolates from Marcel . Furthermore, 120 warm beanies and 20 pairs of sunglasses were distributed. Our team members Marcel contributed €100, and Pema Doma contributed रु 1,00,000, both dedicated to the reconstruction and enrichment of the school library. This investment in a library is an investment in future leaders, providing a sanctuary of knowledge and imagination for every child.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Marcel for their impactful contributions to Nepali Rotznaschen to make this possible .

On 13th December 2025, we joyfully celebrated our Early Christmas and New Year’s Party.
Our Kathmandu Patenkinder from Nepali Rotznäschen wrote heartfelt greeting letters and cards to their sponsors, participated in fun games, and enjoyed a food and gifting ceremony followed by cake cutting.

It was truly amazing to witness our Kinder growing into confident teenagers. We are extremely proud of their upbringing and progress, and we look forward to continuing our support for their higher education and future consulting opportunities.
