Explore how you can now analyze climate and health data together in DHIS2 with a new dashboard for climate & malaria, climate data sets, and the latest version of the DHIS2 Climate app. These tools enable countries to identify and examine the links between climate change and health risks like malaria outbreaks, to create more targeted and effective interventions.

This integration has been made possible through partnerships with Ministry of Health- Uganda National Malaria Control Program and The International Research Institute for Climate and Society at Columbia Climate School.

Our partners at the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data have published an article written by our DHIS2 core team, which explores the impacts of the current crisis in global health financing, and the demonstrated resilience of locally-owned national health information systems.

When it comes to health data, our message is simple: invest in what works and what lasts—locally owned routine information systems, the digital public goods they are built on, and the local capacity to keep them running. This will ensure that these systems remain resilient and adaptable, helping low- and middle-income countries meet health needs and respond to challenges in the years to come.
