World Top 8 Eight-Thousanders in Nepal !!!

1. Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) – 8,848.86 m (29,031 ft).

- Highest mountain in the world
-Located in the Solukhumbu District, part of
the Khumbu region

2. Kanchenjunga – 8,586 m (28,169 ft).
-Third-highest mountain in the world
Lies on the border of Nepal and India.

3. Lhotse – 8,516 m (27,940 ft)
-Fourth-highest mountain
-Located just south of Everest; shares part of the same climbing route.

4. Makalu – 8,485 m (27,838 ft)
-Fifth-highest mountain.
-Near Everest and Lhotse, on the Nepal- China border.

5. Cho Oyu – 8,188 m (26,864 ft).

-Sixth-highest mountain
-On the Nepal-Tibet border; considered one of the easiest 8,000ers to climb
