On December 17, Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Mr. Ram Charitra Mehta, appreciated and congratulated 👏Swikrit Neupane, Silver Medalist🥈 in Para Table Tennis at the Asian Youth Para Games – Dubai 2025, along with our President, Mr. Ganesh KC sir, of the National Physical Disabled Table Tennis Association Nepal, at NSC, office. 🏓🏓
Also, our respective sir Mr. Kuber Prakash Singh, General Secretary of the Nepal Table Tennis Association, joined the occasion. 🙏

We hope to achieve even greater success in the coming days. 😊 Thank you for giving us hope and motivation 🙏🙏🙏

After returning from the Asian Youth Para Games – Dubai 2025, on Sunday, 14 December 2025, GRAND WELCOME BACK was extended at the airport to the winner and participant. 🏓 The welcome was attended by Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Ram Charitra Mehta; members Kamal Bahadur Bhattarai and Ramchandra Shrestha; officials of the All Nepal Table Tennis Association including President Bijendra Hamal, General Secretary Kuber Prakash Singh, and Chief Coach Mohan Das; officials of the National Paralympic Committee including President Radha Ghale, Vice President Tek Bahadur Gurung, General Secretary Pashupati Parajuli, and Deputy General Secretary Dipak K.C.; officials of the National Para Table Tennis Association Asha Hamal, Gyanakala Pandey, Raikosha Shahi, Ganga Chhantyal; Para Athletics Association representative Syambo Bhote; athletes Keshav Shrestha and Sonika Dhakal; media representative Ramesh Khatri; and other respected well-wishers.🙏

As a society, it is our responsibility to build an inclusive environment where everyone can participate, contribute, and shine.

Today is

At ITTF Foundation, we keep standing in solidarity with refugees and displaced individuals around the world and reaffirm our commitment to a society where no one is left behind. 🏓

During this year’s , 22 registered events in 17 countries and territories were held, involving refugees and displaced individuals. In total, more than 3,000 participants of diverse abilities, gender identities, and backgrounds took part.

One of the inspiring examples came from Nepal, where Laxman Nepali, a WTTD 2025 Promoter, organised a welcoming and inclusive event in Kathmandu.
💬 “Refugees and displaced people are not just part of our community; they are the most important part of it. Inclusion is not a luxury; it’s the foundation for a better and more peaceful world,” said Laxman.

Through other key initiatives, we continue supporting displaced people:
➡️ project Rising Stars in Iran continues empowering displaced girls and women from Afghanistan through table tennis activities.
➡️ continues welcoming and recruiting participants, including refugees, living with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s diseases.

However, we also reflect on the fact that the overall percentage of WTTD events involving refugees dropped this year. This is a reminder of the work that still lies ahead and a call to action for the global table tennis community to improve the status quo together.

Everyone deserves a place at the table—not only in sport, but in society as a whole. Join us in this movement!
