Palmo studies at a boarding school in Kathmandu, far from her family.
Once a year, during the long vacation, she makes the long journey home to Dolpo — one of Nepal’s most remote regions, where her family lives.
The journey takes three long days, which is why this homecoming happens only once a year.
After months apart, returning is very special and Palmo enjoys every moment of being part of her family’s life again ❤️

The Wide Children’s Home celebrated DIWALI, the festival of lights.

Thanks to a generous sponsor 🙏, the children enjoyed a wonderful festive lunch, colorful crackers and delicious sweets. It made the day truly special and brought so many smiles to the children’s faces.
