HSG for Nature Conservation Himalayan Scholars' Group for Nature Conservation [HSG] HSG is registered with the Government of Nepal and is affiliated to the Social Welfare Council, Nepal.

Himalayan Scholars' Group for Nature Conservation (HSG) is an autonomous and non-profit making organization, established in the dedication, honor and memory of 24 conservation heroes who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash in Ghunsa, Taplejung on 23rd September, 2006. HSG is established in 2010 by a group of students studying at Institute of Forestry, Pokhara and Hetauda Campus who are

also the recipients of memorial scholarship from WWF Nepal. HSG educates community people and school students to generate awareness about biodiversity conservation. HSG is committed to nature conservation through research and community outreach program.
