Today, Shikharapur Community Learning Center (SCLC) had the opportunity to participate in the Social Organization Showcase at Thames International College.

SCLC Secretary Ms. Nisha Bisunke and Agriculture JTA Ms. Sarita Nagarkoti represented Shikharapur at the event. We showcased some of our key initiatives, including Shikharapur Campus, Open School, Rukmini Foundation Program, and other educational, skill development, and livelihood activities.

We were also happy to have Mr. Surendra Balami, an active member of the Entrepreneurial Women Farmers and Livestock Keepers Group, showcase the fresh vegetables he produced. His participation beautifully reflected our focus on local production, livelihoods, and community-based entrepreneurship.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our work, connect with others, and highlight the efforts of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Thames International College and the entire organizing team for this wonderful opportunity and for welcoming us to the showcase.

Healthy Soil, Sustainable Future🌿

Shikharapur Community Learning Centre believes in adopting an integrated and sustainable method of agriculture.

By utilizing the cow dung obtained from the cattle available in our center, along with other organic waste material, we have developed vermicompost, which helps in nourishing the soil, developing sustainable agriculture, and conserving the environment.

With the proper utilization of natural resources, we have been converting organic waste material into a resourceful material, thereby ensuring healthy soil, green agriculture, increased crop yield, empowerment of farmers, and conservation of the environment.

The video made by the students of the Windesheim Honors College from Netherlands is indeed very unique since it is an embodiment of all their learning experiences, friendships, intercultural experiences, and memorable times. 🙏

From the video, it can be seen that they have made the most out of their stay and have shared their experiences and memories with everyone else.
