🎉 Happy Nepali New Year 🇳🇵

At the Snowland Ranag Light of Education School, which shelters children from remote Himalayan villages, the students are welcoming a long-awaited joyful day.

On ordinary days, their meals are simple.
But on this special New Year’s day, the school’s founder — Ranag Rinpoche — prepared something extra: more meat, more dishes, and even soda for the children.

The smiles on their faces are more precious than any feast.

For these children from the mountains,
this is a New Year’s gift filled with love and blessings.

In the coming year, may every act of kindness
become the strength that helps these children grow.

願以此食，滋養身心，
為利益一切眾生而受用。

We offer this sustenance with a heart of gratitude and pure aspiration to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, the Gurus, and all sentient beings, while maintaining right mindfulness throughout this meal.

May this meal nourish my physical and spiritual well-being,
Received with the vow to benefit all sentient beings.

🕉️During the Chotrul Duchen in the Tibetan calendar, the children of Snowland Ranag Light of Education School gathered together. They participated in the annual Guru Rinpoche Grand Puja for world peace, led by the school’s founder, Dolpo Buddha Ranag Tulku Rinchen Rinpoche.

Through faith, they learn gratitude;
Through education, they see hope.
Education is the most enduring form of compassion;
Accompaniment is the most warming strength.

May this light illuminate the lives of these children,
and brighten your heart as well as mine. 🌟🔆🙏
