It is a non-government organisation formed by like-minded people from different backgrounds who share common values on preservation of the ecology and environment. Through IEEN we hope to facilitate people to meet their energy demands by providing necessary services on renewable energy and make people come to terms with environment friendly technology use. At community level, we will be also worki
ng to preserve the biodiversity and raise awareness to encourage individuals at household level. Scientific research and studies will be conducted where we deem that a study will contribute to the use of clean energy and or promote community development. Since energy use and other aspects of community are inextricably linked, we focus on inclusiveness in our work. We are registered at District Administration Office, Kathmandu under the Non-Government Organisation Act, 2034. We do not pursue any acts including profit making except fulfilling our objectives through the provision of our services.
