A Prayer for Nepal

This is a very, very difficult time for all of us in Nepal. The news we are receiving is deeply saddening and heartbreaking.

We are grateful that all members of Make a Difference Nepal (MDN) are safe. However, we have also learned that some of our loved ones and people close to us are currently out of contact. We can only pray and hope that they are safe and will soon be able to reconnect with their families.

At this difficult hour, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has suffered, those who are still waiting for news of their loved ones, and all those who are facing hardship and uncertainty.

May everyone be safe. May families be reunited. And may Nepal find strength, courage, and healing during this painful time.

Another Successful Distribution Program at Seti Devi School.

As part of MDN’s regular support program for children, we successfully distributed stationery supplies to the students of Seti Devi School. Access to basic learning materials plays an important role in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment, and we are pleased to contribute to the children’s educational journey.

At MDN, we remain committed to supporting children’s education through regular initiatives that help meet their everyday learning needs. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who continues to support our mission of creating brighter opportunities for every child.

A new addition to our Junkiri Program, Barahi School, recently joined our growing network of partner schools. During our visit, we distributed notebooks and stationery supplies to all the children based on their requests, helping ensure they have the basic materials needed for their learning journey.

We are excited to begin this new partnership and look forward to working together to create positive opportunities for the students and the school community. Here’s to a successful collaboration and a bright future ahead!

Junkiri Program at Seti Devi School

We are back with another exciting Junkiri Program, this time at Seti Devi School!

During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with a few parents as well. They expressed their satisfaction with the school's overall environment and progress, while also sharing that they would love to see more toys available for the playgroup children.

Today's session was both enjoyable and meaningful. We spent time talking with the children about their dreams and future aspirations. At first, many of them were a little shy and hesitant to speak, but as the session progressed, they gradually opened up and shared their thoughts with confidence. It was inspiring to hear their ambitions—many dream of becoming doctors and police officers, while others hope to become teachers and drivers.

We were also able to complete individual profiles for every student present, helping us better understand their interests, personalities, and aspirations. Each child was incredibly innocent, cheerful, and full of potential. We distributed dry fruits and some sweets to children as always.

Overall, it was a very productive and rewarding program. We are grateful for the warm welcome from the school, parents, and students, and we look forward to continuing our journey with these wonderful children. 💙✨

We are delighted to share that we have finally reached our third primary schoo, Barahi Devi Aadharbhut (Primary) School in Dhunibesi Ward No. 9, Dhading District.

During our visit, we were warmly welcomed by the teachers and had a wonderful meeting with the Principal, Mr. Ram Chandra Rupakheti. He was very welcoming and expressed his appreciation that our organization had approached their school. He shared that he and his team are doing their best to improve the quality of education and create better learning opportunities for their students.

The school currently has around 25 students and a dedicated team of four teachers. It was encouraging to learn that they were open to our programs and enthusiastic about collaborating with us in the future.

As part of our visit, we provided storybooks, coloring books, colors, and some sweets for the children.

We look forward to building a strong partnership with the school and organizing many more programs based on their needs. Together, we hope to support the learning, growth, and well-being of these wonderful children.
