Continuing our long-standing tradition of observing the International Day of Peace, Rotary Club of Pashupati-Kathmandu in collaboration with our Rotaract Club of Pashupati-Kathmandu and Rotaract Club of Pashupati Nepal Law Campus organized a Candle Lighting for Peace at the serene Bouddhanath Stupa on September 21, 2026 and reaffirm our shared commitment to peace, harmony, unity, and togetherness.

Handed over essential relief materials to the flood-affected families of Rasuwa District at Nilkantha Mavi, the holding center of Uttargaya Rural Municipality, Rasuwa.

The relief support included essential hygiene products, clothing, blankets, medicines, kitchen utensils, mats, power banks with torch, and other necessary supplies.

1. Toothbrush & Toothpaste – 300 pcs each
2. Sanitary Pads – 200+ pcs
3. Body Powder – 300 pcs
4. Soap – 360 pcs
5. New Blankets – 160 pcs
6. Power Banks with Torch (30,000 mAh) – 60 pcs
7. Male Undergarments (Mixed Vests & Un**es) – 600+ pcs
8. Female Undergarments – 300+ pcs
9. Diapers – 120 pcs
10. Plates – 200 pcs
11. Glasses – 200 pcs
12. Spoons – 200 pcs
13. Knives – 6 pcs
14. Big Dadu/Panyu – 9 pcs
15. Potato Peelers – 12 pcs
16. Medicines – (Sugar/Diabetes, Thyroid, Blood Pressure & Children’s Medicines)
17. Mat – 200+ meters
18. Gumboots 50pc

The relief initiative was jointly carried out in collaboration with our international partner Juniper Trust, Rotaract Club of Pashupati Kathmandu, and Rotaract Club of Pashupati Nepal Law Campus.

The Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers united with Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan District 3292 and our partner clubs (RC Kathmandu Kalanki, Rotary Club of Swoyambhu, Rotary Club of Thamel - 3292 , Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town, and Rotary Club of Pashupati-Ktm to deliver urgent relief to the flood-affected communities of Rasuwa. It’s a powerful example of what true collaboration can achieve.

As People of Action, Rotarians step up in times of crisis, pooling our collective strengths to bring real hope where it’s needed most

Rotary Club of Pashupati Kathmandu took an immediate relief initiative based on a request received from Uttargaya Rural Municipality. Around 500 children and adults are currently staying in a school as a temporary shelter and are in urgent need of clothing and basic food supplies.

Our club members have already started contributing, and we are currently mobilising approximately:
• NPR 206,000 – Clothing
• NPR 1,22,000 – Essential food items (rice, lentils, chiura, dalmoth, etc.)
• NPR 57,000 – Logistics and transportation

We see this as a quick and practical response to address their immediate needs.

However, we intend to continue monitoring the situation and assessing the needs on the ground. Once the immediate crisis is addressed, we would like to explore a more sustainable, longer-term relief and recovery plan, potentially including some permanent support or infrastructure depending on what the community actually needs.

Rotary Club of Pashupati-Kathmandu, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Sankhu, Interplast Nepal, and Interburns, successfully organized Community Burn Prevention (CBP) & First Aid Awareness Training held on 22 August 2026 at Airport Hotel, Kathmandu.

The training focused on strengthening awareness of burn prevention, first aid response, and appropriate immediate care for burn injuries, equipping participants with practical knowledge that can help prevent complications and save lives.
