🌍✨ Voices of the Future | Children and Artificial Intelligence 🤖❤️
Today, we sat with bright young minds aged 12–17 from Nepal to understand how they see and use AI in their daily lives from learning and creativity to exploring their emotions and curiosity about the digital world.
Their reflections were powerful filled with hope, questions, and dreams. 💭
They reminded us that technology must serve humanity, not the other way around. When guided with care and awareness, AI can become a tool for learning, protection, and empowerment.
This FGD is part of a shared journey under the SCROL Project, bringing together children from Nepal, Kenya, the Philippines, and Cambodia to shape a common understanding of AI from children’s perspectives, for children’s rights. 🌱
👧🏽👦🏽 Their message is clear: “Let’s make AI safe, fair, and friendly — for every child, everywhere.”
🌍✨ भविष्यका आवाजहरू | बालबालिका र कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) 🤖❤️
आज हामीले १२ देखि १७ वर्ष उमेरका नेपाली बालबालिकासँग बसेर बुझ्यौं उनीहरूले कसरी AI (कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता) प्रयोग गर्छन्, र यसप्रति उनीहरूको भावना, जिज्ञासा र सोच कस्तो छ।
उनीहरूको विचारहरू आशा, प्रश्न र सपना भरिएका थिए। 💭
बालबालिकाले हामीलाई सम्झाए प्रविधि मानवको सेवामा हुनुपर्छ, मानव प्रविधिको होइन। यदि सचेत र जिम्मेवारीपूर्वक प्रयोग गरियो भने, AI सीप, शिक्षा र सशक्तीकरणको माध्यम बन्न सक्छ।
यो छलफल SCROL परियोजना अन्तर्गत नेपाल, केन्या, फिलिपिन्स र कम्बोडियाका बालबालिकाबीचको साझा प्रयास हो जहाँ बालबालिकाहरूले आफ्नो दृष्टिकोणबाट AI को साझा बुझाइ र अधिकारको आवाज उठाएका छन्। 🌱
👧🏽👦🏽 उनीहरूको सन्देश स्पष्ट छ “हामी सबैका लागि, सबै बालबालिकाको लागि सुरक्षित, निष्पक्ष र मित्रवत् AI बनाऔं।”
