The image is taken from Sikles- a village in ACAP following community based conservation. The image shows the Annapurna range and water source generating from it which contribute of electricity generation, drinking and other purposes. The tourism caused by Annapurna also thrives the villages near it. But over the course of time due to climate change, the snowline has also risen and water source has also began to melt rapidly causing unexpected floods and droughts and certain times.
IFSA KAFCOL proudly presents the Climate Change Photography Contest 2026 — a platform to capture the realities, impacts, solutions, and hope surrounding climate change through your lens. Every photograph has the power to raise awareness, inspire action, and inspire climate action.
🗓 Submission Deadline: July 15, 2026
📌 Submission Guidelines:
• Photographs must be related to climate change, environmental conservation, sustainability, biodiversity, adaptation, or mitigation.
• Only original photographs captured by the participant will be accepted.
• Basic editing (brightness, contrast, and color correction) is allowed, but AI-generated or heavily manipulated images are not permitted.
• Each participant may submit one photograph only.
• Submit your photograph along with a short caption (50–100 words).
• Please mention your full name, contestant number, and the name of your institution in the submission.
• Submit your entry to [email protected] before July 15, 2026.
🏆 Result & Judging Criteria:
• 50% – Jury Evaluation (Creativity, relevance to the theme, composition, and overall impact).
• 50% – Social Media Outreach.
• Social media engagement will be counted based on reactions to the photograph posted on the official IFSA KAFCOL page.
• Only valid likes and shares from the official Facebook post will be counted.
• Participants must follow and like the official IFSA KAFCOL page.
• The decision of the judging panel will be final.
