Today, we held Clothes Bank Support Program to Sukhawati Charity Store at Banasthali, Kathmandu with 1st VDG Lion Ramesh Adhikari Sir, 2nd VDG Bishnuhari Phyual Sir, District Secretary Lion Triza Dhakal Ma’am, Ideal Chief Lion Surendra Babu Shrestha Sir, District Administrator Lion Rajubabu Shrestha Sir, District Administrator Lion Susma Koirala Ma’am, Global Causes Chief Lion Ishwori Laudari, Area Chief Lion Parbati Karki Khatri Ma’am, Region Chairman Lion Niroj Pandey Sir, Zone Chairperson Lion Binod Aryal Sir, Zone Chairperson Lion Pooja Chaudary Ma’am and Club members present.

We donated sacks of clothes which was organised in cooperation with four other clubs with LCKTM Rose, each with its own president and club name: LCKTM Metro City; Lion Rabindra Lamicchane Sir, LCKTM Bharosa; Lion Jivan Karki Sir and Lion Club of Rainbow Galaxy; Lion Pooja Chaudary (Zone Chairperson).

Special thank you to the Director of Sukhawati Charity Store for collaborating and letting us use your school grounds to help a such wonderful cause. Your help and support was really appreciated.

The program was a huge success. It was wonderful to collaborate with other clubs alike to come together and organize a necessary program for people. Please look forward to other programs and services that the club will be holding in the following months.

Even if you’re not protesting physically, there are other ways of helping. We can help by getting attention from international news, giving them correct information and not just “Genz protests against social media ban” which is wrong and doesn’t capture how serious the situation is.

Today, we held our first program, Stationary Distribution Program in Mangaladevi Secondary School, Gaushala with our District Governor Lion Durga Prasad Humagain Sir present. Senior Officers 2nd VDG PMjf Lion Bishnuhari Phuyal Sir, District Secretary Lion Triza Dhakal Ma'am,District Chief Administrator Lion Hasan Gopali, District Administrator Lion Susma Koirala Ma'am, Region Chairperson Lion Sarada Oli Ma'am, Zone Chairperson Lion Binod Aryal Sir were also present with other Senior Officers and Club members.

Over 150 students from Nursery through Grade 8 received stationery (notebooks and basic stationery supplies) from the program, which was organised in cooperation with four other clubs with LCKTM Rose, each with its own president and club name: LCKTM Metro City; Lion Rabindra Lamicchane Sir, LCKTM New Metro City; Lion Samjhana Pradhan Sir, LCKTM Temple Nilbarahi; Lion Sir Saugat Shrestha Sir, Leo Club of Metro City; and Lion Surakshya Khanal Ma'am.

Special thank you to the Principal of Mangaladevi Secondary School, Madhusudan Dhungel Sir and the school for collaborating and letting us use your school grounds to help a such wonderful cause. Your help and support was really appreciated.
