On the occasion of World Environment Day, IMCS Nepal organized an environmental awareness and tree plantation program in collaboration with Aruna Bhawan, Lalitpur. The program aimed to promote environmental consciousness and encourage sustainable practices among children.

The event included an awareness session on environmental protection, followed by collage-making and art competitions, where the children creatively expressed their ideas about nature and conservation. A tree plantation activity was also conducted, allowing participants to contribute directly to a greener environment.

As part of the program, cloth bags produced through the Jhola Re Project were distributed to the children to encourage the reduction of plastic use and the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives. The day concluded with the sharing of snacks, fostering friendship and joy among all participants.

The program was a meaningful initiative that combined learning, creativity, and action towards environmental sustainability.

On 28th March 2026, IMCS Nepal organized a meaningful Lenten Faith Sharing Program at St. Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

The program began with an inspiring session by Fr. Deven Yonzan SJ, who shared his personal experiences on faith and prayer, encouraging a deeper spiritual journey. This was followed by group faith sharing, where members gathered to reflect, listen, and grow in faith.

The program continued with the Journey to the Cross, embracing the true spirit of Lent, followed by Adoration and Confession. Adoration was conducted by Fr. Ajay Raj Lakra SJ, animator of IMCS Nepal, creating a peaceful space for prayer and reflection, while Confession was facilitated by the fathers of the SXJ community.

It was a truly fruitful and grace-filled experience—strengthening faith, fostering bonding, and encouraging prayer in solidarity.
