Children from across Nepal came together at the National Level Baal Bhela as part of the pre-budget advocacy initiative to raise their voices and priorities for a child-friendly budget. The event was organized in collaboration with Save the Children in Nepal and Consortium-Nepal

We, Members of the National Child Advocate Council (NCAC), along with children representing different child club networks, jointly developed 21 key recommendations reflecting children’s concerns and rights.

The recommendations were formally handed over to Gyanu Poudel, Hon. Member of Parliament and Member of the Women and Social Affairs Committee, emphasizing the importance of meaningful child participation in national planning and budgeting processes.

A virtual workshop with the National Child Advocate Council (NCAC) created a meaningful space for children to discuss and understand the local-level planning process and the importance of child participation in decision-making.
The session was facilitated by the Past President of Consortium Nepal, who shared valuable insights on strengthening children’s voices in local, provincial and National planning and budgeting processes.

Together, we continue to promote meaningful child participation for a more inclusive and child-friendly future.

महिला, बालबालिका तथा ज्येष्ठ नागरिक मन्त्रालयका सह-सचिव ज्यू समक्ष राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषदको तर्फबाट बाल अधिकार, बाल संरक्षण तथा बालबालिका सम्बन्धी ऐनको प्रभावकारी कार्यान्वयनका विषयमा बाल सुझाव पेश गरिएको छ।
उक्त सुझाव पेश गर्ने सम्बन्धमा राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी सदस्य विच व्यापक छलफल गरिएको थियो ।

राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषद्को सदस्यता फारम २०८२

बालबालिकाको नागरिक अधिकार तथा स्वतन्त्रताको अधिकारको प्रभावकारी उपयोग गर्दै राज्यका निकायहरुमा बालबालिकाका सरोकारहरुलाई बहस, पैरवी गर्न तथा राज्यका विभिन्न तह र निकायबाट हुने बालबालिका सम्बन्धी निर्णयहरुमा सचेत र स्वतन्त्र ढंगले विचार अभिव्यक्त गर्न संगठित, व्यवस्थित र प्रतिनिधिमुलक रुपमा बाल पैरवीकर्ताहरुको मञ्चको विकास तथा सहजीकरण गर्न आवश्यक भएकोले राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषद् गठन गरिएको हो ।
नेपालको संविधान २०७२ को धारा ३९ (३) ले बालसहभागितालाई मौलिक अधिकारको रुपमा सुनिश्चित गरेको छ। साथै, बालबालिका सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०७५ को दफा १० को उपदफा १ ले "प्रत्येक बालबालिकालाई बालअधिकारको प्रवर्ध्दन तथा बालसंरक्षणको लागि बालक्लब वा संस्था खोल्ने वा शान्तिपूर्वक भेला हुने अधिकार हुनेछ" भन्ने व्यवस्था गरेको छ । यसै सन्दर्भमा राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषदको स्थापना अर्थपूर्ण र सहभागीमुलक बाल सहभागिताका लागि परिकल्पना गरी स्थापना भएको संस्था हो।
राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषद् सदस्यको समयअवधि दुई वर्षको हुनेछ । यदि तपाई यस समुहमा आवद्ध हुन इच्छुक हुनुहुन्छ भने २०८२ चैत्र १० गते भित्र भने तल दिईएको फारम भर्नुहुन अनुरोध गर्दछौ । राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषद सञ्चालन निर्देशिका अनुसार यस संस्थामा आवद्ध हुन १८ वर्ष पुरा नभएको हुनुपर्दछ ।

राष्ट्रिय बाल पैरवी परिषद् (NCAC) को नेतृत्वमा बालबालिकाले तयार पारेको “हामी बालबालिकाले खोजेको घोषणापत्र” बालबालिकाद्धारा प्रमुख राजनीतिक दलहरूलाई औपचारिक रूपमा बुझाएका छन्।
यस घोषणापत्रमार्फत बालबालिकाले राजनीतिक दलका घोषणापत्रमा बाल अधिकार, बालमैत्री नीति तथा बालबालिकाको वास्तविक आवाज समेटिनुपर्ने स्पष्ट माग राखेका छन्।
यो पहलले बालबालिका भविष्यका मात्र नभई वर्तमानका पनि सरोकारवाला हुन् भन्ने सन्देश प्रवाह गर्दै बाल सहभागिताको मुद्दालाई थप सुदृढ बनाएकोछ ।
