On this World Bee Day, we celebrate the tireless workers who keep our ecosystems thriving and our food systems secure. As agriculture students, we know that without bees, our plates—and our planet—would look very different.

Under the theme "Bee together for people and the planet: A partnership that sustains us all," we are reminded that biodiversity is a shared responsibility. From pollinating our local crops to maintaining global food security, bees are the backbone of sustainable farming.

Let’s commit to protecting these essential pollinators by promoting bee-friendly practices and preserving their natural habitats.

PRESS RELEASE of "Expert Spotlight Series: Bridging the Gap from Research to Field!"

IAAS Nepal LC Gauradaha successfully conducted an insightful seminar on the "Biological Control of Fall Armyworm", bridging the gap from laboratory research to field outreach!
The session was led by "Ms. Nisha Subedi" (M.Sc. in Entomology), who shared her expertise on eco-friendly solutions to one of agriculture’s most pressing threats. A highlight of the session was her discussion on the discovery and application of "Metarhizium rileyi", an entomopathogenic fungus that serves as a powerful natural enemy against the Fall Armyworm.

The session also highlights the Interactive Q&A session, with a vibrant discussion where participants addressed practical challenges in biological pest management and discuss about different problems that could be addressed by the research.

A huge thank you to our speaker and all the participants for making this session a success.
Together, we are moving toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly future in agriculture! 🌍💚

From waste to wonder! 🌿
For "Day 2" of Agrobloom, we officially mastered the "grind." We moved from raw straw to high-strength pulp through careful 'fiber extraction', followed by the delicate process of 'seed embedding' to give our paper life.
After laying the sheets out for the 'drying process', we were thrilled to hold a "demonstration in college", sharing this sustainable journey with our peers and professors. We are proving that agricultural leftovers truly can power a greener future!

[PRESS RELEASE: WASTE TO WINGS]
On the occasion of "World Earth Day 2026", IAAS Nepal LC Gauradaha successfully concluded the "Waste to Wings" program today at the college premises. 🌍✨

With rising temperatures posing a threat to our local ecosystem, our members took a proactive step toward conservation. We transformed "waste" into life-saving resources by upcycling discarded plastic bottles into bird waterers. These waterers have been placed throughout the campus to ensure our feathered friends stay hydrated and beat the heat. 🐦station
Key Highlights:
✅ Upcycling in Action: Reducing plastic waste by giving it a second, meaningful life.
✅ Biodiversity Support: Providing essential hydration to local birds during the dry season.
✅ Youth Leadership: Coming together to prove that small, creative actions can lead to significant environmental impact.

Our planet is our responsibility. Through this initiative, we reiterate our commitment to the theme: "Our Power, Our Planet."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the active members and participants who joined us early this morning to make this event a success.
