📢 [PRESS RELEASE: A Visit to a Cooperative Farm] 🚜🌾

IAAS Nepal LC Gauradaha successfully organized an Educational Visit to a Cooperative Farm at Namuna Sahakari Kheti, Gauradaha–5, Jhapa.

The visit provided participants with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge of cooperative farming systems and understand how collective efforts contribute to sustainable agricultural development. The interactive session enabled members to bridge classroom learning with real-world agricultural practices.

🌱 Key Highlights:
🔸 Understanding Cooperative Farming: Participants explored the principles, structure, and management of cooperative farming and its role in improving farmers' livelihoods through collective action.

🔸 Learning Modern Agricultural Practices: Members observed various farm management techniques, crop production methods, resource utilization, and observe solar dryer,potato slicer ,pickle making methods, sustainable farming practices adopted by the cooperative.

🔸 Interactive Knowledge Sharing: The visit included discussions with farm representatives, allowing participants to learn about the cooperative's achievements, the land of 80 bigha shared by each share member of related cooperatives,seed production also under process.

This educational visit strengthened participants' practical understanding of cooperative agriculture and highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in modern farming.

A heartfelt thank you to Namuna Sahakari Kheti for hosting us and sharing valuable insights, and to all the participants who made this visit a meaningful learning experience. Together, we continue to grow as future agricultural professionals! 🌍💚

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with farm representatives, observe farm operations, and gain valuable insights into cooperative-based agriculture.

Press Release: "AGRI-QUIZ 2083" 🧠🏆

IAAS Nepal LC Gauradaha successfully organized the highly anticipated "AGRI-QUIZ" at the Gauradaha Agriculture Campus Hall!

The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration session that set an enthusiastic tone for the day, followed by an intense selection round among 13 teams where top-performing teams competed for a spot in the top 6 finals round. The top six teams then advanced to the final round, facing rigorous challenges through dedicated General Agriculture round, IQ round, visual round and rapid fire round designed to test their analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and agricultural knowledge. The program concluded on a high note with a certificate and prize distribution session celebrating the exceptional intellect, hard work, and sportsmanship of all the winners and participants.

A huge congratulations to all the winning teams and participants for their remarkable effort!🎉

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team members of organization, esteemed guests, and the campus administration for their unwavering support in making this event a grand success. 🙌

Yesterday, the vibrant streets of Gauradaha Bazar transformed into a powerful hub for advocacy as IAAS Nepal LC Gauradaha, in joint collaboration with "Digo Bikas Institute", "CJAI", and our incredible local partners NYCA jhapa, YCSA Jhapa, NTSC Gauradaha, TSAN Jhapa and Leo Club of Gauradaha successfully organized "Climate Justice Awareness: From Street to Action"✊

The climate crisis isn't a distant threat—it is a present reality directly impacting our agriculture, our ecosystems, and our communities. As students of agricultural sciences, we refuse to stand by. It's time to transition from simple awareness to concrete, structural change.

Through creative expressions, we brought the message of climate justice straight to the heart of the community:
Rally: Marching together with strong demands to protect our future.
Flash Mob:Channeling youthful energy to grab public attention.
Street Drama: Portraying the real-world consequences of environmental damage and the urgent need for fair solutions.

A huge thank you to all the coordinators, local dignitaries, active participants, and supportive community members who stood with us to make this event a resounding success. The responsibility is shared, but the action must start now! 🤝🌱
